Premiere Design Solutions professional staff was responsible for the project management of FEMA flood insurance rate map modernization (Map-Mod) program for the SFWMD. The SFWMD’s vision for supporting FEMA’s Map-Mod was to partner with FEMA in every aspect of map modernization including the development and production of digital flood insurance rate maps (DFIRMs). 

 

Responsibilities of our staff included program oversight, grants management, contract management, inter-agency coordination and outreach to local governments and local flood plain managers. Duties also included the leading public outreach efforts for SFWMD planning, comprehensive everglades restoration plan and the FEMA Map-Mod projects in south Florida including public meetings and focused interest group workshops.
